This year our slip and dry rack valet contracts will be posted on our website http://www.marinamarbleisland.com/. If you are unable to download the contract and the terms and conditions, let us know and we will happily mail one out.
All dock and dry rack spaces will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Payment must be received in full to guarantee a spot. As you know, the slips have been at full capacity for the past few seasons. This season we expect to be full as well, therefore we will limit the number of vessels in each size range on the docks. The limits will be dictated by the number of 25’, 30’ and 36’ fingers we have in our dock configuration. Emphasis will be placed on utilizing larger fingers for larger vessels. If the spaces in your size range are full when we receive your application, you will be contacted to discuss any available options. Once we run out of available spaces, unsuccessful applicants will have their payment promptly returned. We want to remind you that we cannot guarantee slip placement. We will once again try to accommodate your requests. However, as members buy larger boats we will need to adjust accordingly. We assure you that any location we assign will be suitable for your vessel.
This year we are again offering a 10% discount for contracts paid in full and received or postmarked by February 15, 2012. We will check postmarks, so get it in early. This cannot be combined with any other discount, but if you received a gift certificate from the raffle last fall, you may apply that to the discounted rate. Remember that any outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to signing the new agreement.
Once again, personal watercraft dockage will be available to seasonal slip and dry rack valet members only. We have separate rates to keep a PWC in the slip with your boat or on one of our floating PWC docks. These rates are not subject to the early season discount. If the PWC is to be kept in your slip, it must be tied behind your boat and cannot interfere with the access or shared space use of your neighboring slips. If you are interested in having your PWC at the marina, e-mail us for a contract.
This year we will once again utilize color coded parking passes. These passes will be required to park in either of the marina lots. Each member will be issued two passes. One pass will allow you to park in either lot. The other pass will only be valid for the upper lot above the dry rack storage area. These passes must be hung visibly from the rearview mirror. We hope this will encourage people to car pool! If you have guests coming to the marina or you misplace your parking pass, please stop by the harbor house and pick up a temporary pass for the UPPER lot. Only one guest pass will be issued per member, per day. Vehicles without passes will be towed at the owner’s expense.
